Terms of Use
These terms govern your use of the Deep Almanac website and any data, API or other service made available under the Deep Almanac name (together, the Service). The Service is operated by Total Metrics Pty Ltd (we, us), a company registered in Australia. By using the Service you agree to these terms.
1. What the Service is
Deep Almanac collects publicly available reference datasets, such as property, financial market and education data, into one place so that software, including AI agents, can find and consult them. We are a secondary source. Each record identifies its original source and the date it was collected where we can.
2. Reference only
The Service is provided for general information and reference. It is not financial, investment, legal, valuation, educational or other professional advice, and it is not a substitute for checking the original source. You are responsible for any decision you or your software makes in reliance on the Service.
3. Accuracy and availability
We try to keep the data accurate and current, but we do not guarantee that it is complete, correct, up to date or free of errors, and we do not guarantee that the Service will be available or uninterrupted. Data may be delayed, revised or withdrawn by its original source at any time.
4. Permitted use
Subject to these terms you may access the Service, including by automated means, and use the data for your own purposes. You must not:
- use the Service in a way that breaches any law or infringes anyone's rights;
- place unreasonable load on the Service or attempt to circumvent access limits;
- remove or obscure source attributions attached to the data;
- present the data as an official publication of its original source;
- use the data in a way that breaches the licence terms of its original source, where those terms are indicated.
5. Third-party data and licences
Much of the data is sourced from third parties, including government agencies and other publishers, under their own licence terms. Where a dataset carries a licence, we identify it and you must comply with it. Nothing in these terms grants you rights in third-party data beyond what its licence allows.
6. Intellectual property
The Deep Almanac name, logo, site design, documentation and the selection, arrangement and enrichment of the datasets are owned by us or our licensors. Rights in the underlying third-party data remain with their owners.
7. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, we exclude all liability for any loss or damage, including indirect or consequential loss and loss of profit, data or business, arising from the Service or your use of it.
Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee, right or remedy conferred by the Australian Consumer Law or any other law that cannot be excluded. Where our liability for a breach of such a guarantee can be limited, it is limited, at our option, to resupplying the relevant service or paying the cost of having it resupplied.
8. Changes and termination
We may change, suspend or discontinue any part of the Service, and may update these terms, at any time. Continued use after a change means you accept it. We may restrict or end your access if you breach these terms.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Australian state or territory in which Total Metrics Pty Ltd is registered, and you submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of its courts.
